My Princess in the Snow

Rarely do I use my actual camera on my two year old. It seems to be easier with a toddler sometimes to just grab the ole iPhone and snap a pic or two or three or four, yes I am obsessed with picture taking. Anyway, snow hit Georgia on January 28, 2014 and this was Lyla's first snow where she actually knew what was going on. I had seen on Pinterest this stunning picture of a little girl in the snow and it gave me the idea to get Lyla all dressed up! It worked and it was so fun! She looked like a little snow princess. Kyle helped make Lyla laugh by throwing snow at me while I tried to capture her sweet smile. So here are a few of the pictures from that eventful day.

Christmas Time

This has been my first year doing Christmas mini-shoots and let me just say it has been so fun! Each family brought a different look to all the different sets and they all made me smile. The milk and cookies were a hit to say the least and many of the kids eyes sparkled as they snuggled up and read a Christmas book. It was a great time and I cannot wait to capture this time of year again in 2014. I hope you all had as much fun as I did!

Chris and Ashleys New Home

I had the privilege of taking some pictures of some of my best friends in their new home. It was such a fun time. Not only did I get to visit their new home, but I got to capture their joy when showing it to me. There are lots of exciting new adventures in our lives and buying a first home is one of them. The joy and pride Chris and Ashley had about their new home was clearly evident in every picture. I love these two awesome friends.
